David Schilp is a freelance, multimedia journalist in the greater Washington DC area. David holds a Master's degree from The George Washington University in New Media Photojournalism and a Bachelor's in Journalism from Rutgers University. At Rutgers, he was editor-in-chief of the Rutgers student newspaper, The Observer, and graduated cum laude.

Mr. Schilp's master's thesis In Hops We Trust combines his passion for storytelling with his vast experience in craft beer, an industry he has been working in since 2007. In addition to his freelance work, he is the Lead Manager at the popular Brew Shop in Arlington, VA. David is known as "the guy" to ask for a recommendation, with a near 100% success rate. His years of customer service paired with team management has given David a unique talent to connect with people, which in turn, gives his photos and video an individualistic style.
